Forage Modern Workshop

Periodically, we contact our customers and ask them to tell us their story (we weren't kidding when we said that we wanted to get to know you, too).  Here's a couple of brave souls willing to share a snippet of their story with us.

My design taste varies from the familiar comfort of mid-century tradition to the playfulness of modern-day pop culture. I enjoy combining elements of years past along with fun treasures to keep you questioning. I don't ever  take anything too seriously. Imagine if Cowboys and Indians, Gypsies and Pirates, Hunters and Gatherers, and Mother Teresa were all on an island and I was left to their belongings. Everything tells a story. Even if you're left to create it for yourself.

It's raining and you can only pick one song to listen to, what would that song be?

What's the best meal you've had in the last year?
Being introduced to molecular gastronomy (that sounds bad - look it up) at Travail Kitchen & Amusements with my dining club.

Any other fun details are interesting facts that make you, you:

What's the best meal you've had in the last year?
Sesame beef at Hong Kong Noodle in Minneapolis. I lived in China for a year, so I know when Chinese cuisine is done right.

Any other fun details are interesting facts that make you, you:
I love a good live band, a good Belgian beer, a quick game of chess, anyone who is honest, my talented and beautiful wife and two awesome kids.
