From the Source is based in NYC.  We met Philip Tuan, one of the owners, in 2011.  He amazed us with stories of purchasing dilapidated buildings in Indonesia and employing local craftsmen to disassemble and refinish wood for new creations from this innovative company.  From the Source uses “garbage” to not only create jobs, but also beautiful furniture with an age old story.
