Good Thing is a collaborative design studio and manufacturing company that embraces backward design. By bringing together inventive designers and talented tradespeople we create household accessories that are minimal, considered and expressive.

Good Thing was founded in 2014 by Brooklyn-based designers Jamie Wolfond and Sam Anderson who share a love of material and process.

Since launching, the company has quickly grown a network of retailers in the USA, Canada and Europe. Some of our clients include the Whitney Museum, MoMa, Converse, Sight Unseen and Everlane.

Good Thing’s projects have caught the attention of international media, appearing in such publications as Dwell Magazine, Sight Unseen, the Wall Street Journal and Azure Magazine.
